Animal Supplies Collection- Ongoing
Our local shelters, the AWA and Animal Orphanage, are in need of supplies all the time. Please collect the following items- Old Towels, Old Bedding, Cat/Dog Food, Treats, Empty Paper Towel/Toilet Paper Rolls, Empty Water Bottles and Pipe Cleaners. Once a quarter the Little Helpers will get together to make toys out of recycled materials and drop off their collection to the animal shelters. Making signs, going on Mom or Dad's Facebook, or printing handouts to neighbors can help you gather even more.
Little Hands Can Make A Big Difference
Want to get involved in your community more? Looking for volunteer opportunities for the kids? Tiny Miss New Jersey Morgan McKeever is setting out to share her passion! Despite her pint size exterior, she has a huge heart that loves to volunteer and make the world a better place- one small act at a time! Her goal by April 2018 is to get 175 kids involved in volunteer activities in their local community. This page will keep you up to date on volunteer opportunities near you and some group meetings that Little Hands of Help will be hosting. Make sure to join below to get notifications of events near you. We welcome grown ups to accompany their little helpers and role model a giving heart.
